IMAGINATION: THE WORKSHOP OF THE MIND is indeed just that. An extra room in my home where plans are drawn out and the destiny of my future is created. Just think of it, it is a wonderful place to come and collect my day dreams and then craft them into reality.

I have discovered over time that the dreams that I carefully plan out and the put action to in real time have a way of becoming reality. Those that sit on a shelf in a corner of my workshop and pop in and out of my mind never seem to come to fruition.

Hill say's, "MAN’S ONLY LIMITATION, within reason, LIES IN HIS DEVELOPMENT AND
USE OF HIS IMAGINATION." How does one develop imagination you might ask . Here is what I have discovered. Now that I am "older and wiser" I revisit my childhood from time to time and re-call the hours of activity outside playing with my friends and using our imagination to create a world of what ever we desired right down to collecting sumack leaves for our money and we had plenty of it and could buy what ever our hearts desired and our minds could imagine.

We didn't have television, computers,i Phones and the like to alter our imagination. The world evolves and changes and it is a good thing if we don't allow ourselves to be controlled by it. That's exactly what happens as we grow older, we allow the gadgets to take over our brain and we stop dreaming and imagining what is possible and instead we only hear the chatter and the noise of the world as it goes speeding past us.

It's not too late for anyone, no mater what season of your life you find yourself. Hill says,"Your imaginative faculty may have become weak through inaction. It can be revived and made alert through USE. YOU CAN DO IT!(I can do it!) IT HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE! Ideas are the beginning points of all fortunes. Ideas are products of the imagination.

Michael had an idea and created the Mentoring For Free community. We all have an idea that is waiting for us to give it permission to become. Like the clerk who risked his entire savings, IDEAS CAN BE TRANSMUTED INTO CASH THROUGH THE POWER OF DEFINITE PURPOSE, PLUS DEFINITE PLANS.

I love this chapter because it gives me so many ideas and stimulates my imagination. I'm thinking it should be a required daily read especially when we fall victim to the thought that network marketing doesn't work. Nothing works when we let our imagination and our ideas die.
